Caroline’s artistic process combines her passion for photography and her first love, painting. Her work unfolds before her as a vision that she sees and is captured on medium format film. Once developed and printed, Caroline infuses her prints with wax encaustic, damar resin, and various forms of oil paints. She is a trained professional photographer who worked as a commercial photographer for years and now documents the mundane and daily aspects of American life.
